A blue-green weevil with yellow-green scales on the sides of the pronotum and elytra. The apexes of the elytra are shaped into protruding, relatively short appendages. Prefers forest edges and moist soil. Phytophagous, polyphagous. Eats leaves of willows, poplars, alders, hazels, cherries, sorrel, butterbur.
