Cryptocephalus octopunctatus · aštuoniataškis paslėptagalvis

It is found in Europe, Siberia. Habitat: forest edges, gardens, woodlots, thickets; prefers humid areas. It feeds on leaves and young shoots of Crataegus, Corylus, Salix. Body length 5 to 6 mm. Pronotum black with an orange-yellow edge and a strip of the same color in the middle, less often without it. Orange elytra, each with 4 black spots that may be large or small, and sometimes even disappear; sometimes they combine to form black stripes. Shoulder lumps are red, without black spots.
