This species is very similar to Timandra griseata, but the ground colour of the forewing is whitish in T. griseata, but often yellowish in T. comae; the surface of the wings is densely speckled with grey scales in T. griseata, but it is covered with brownish-grey speckles in T. comae. There is no reliable records for Timandra griseata in Lithuania yet.‥
