Lygus rugulipennis · įvairiaspalvė žolblakė

on Tanacetum vulgare - ant paprastosios bitkrėslės

  • European tarnished plant bug
  • Behaarte-Wiesenwanze, Runzelflügel-Wiesenwanze

  • zmienik lucernowiec

These polyphagous bugs may feed on Trifolium, Chenopodium, Rumex, Brassicaceae, Fabaceae, Urticaceae, Asteraceae species. They also feed on potatoes, cereals, alfalfa and other crops. Adults and especially nymphs also feed on aphids and insect eggs. Adults are present all year, but they are more abundant in late summer. They usually winter in leaf litter.

This genus is one of the problematic mirid groups to identify so I probably have made some mistakes here.‥
