Piezodorus lituratus nymph · dvispalvė skydblakė, nimfa

The main host plants are various legumes (Fabaceae), especially common broom (Sarothamnus scoparius) and dyer's greenweed (Genista tinctoria), but also alfalfa (>Medicago sativa), vetches (Vicia), sweet-clover (Melilotus), crown vetches (Coronilla), sainfoins (Onobrychis), Lupinus and others. It overwinters as an adult. As in many other shieldbugs, this species frequently becomes darker prior to hibernation.‥
