https://www.arachnophoto.com/en/salticidae-2/phlegra-fasciata Phlegra fasciata is found in a wide distribution area, stretching from Europe through many parts of Asia to eastern Russia. It lives in sandy and stony areas with little vegetation.
The body length of the female is 5.3‒7.6 mm. Female abdomen golden brown to black with a white median band and white stripes along the side. Carapace golden brown to black with two white bands on top and a white border along the underside. Underneath the front eyes white hairs. Legs and palps annulated.
The body length of the male is 4.3‒7.4 mm. Male almost entirely golden brown to black. Markings are similar to those of the female, however, very weak and difficult to distinguish.
