https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laccaria_bicolor Laccaria bicolor is a small tan-colored mushroom with lilac gills. It grows in mixed birch and pine woods. It is found in the temperate zones of the globe, in late summer and autumn. This species is ectomycorrhizal with a range of trees.
The cap is 2–4.5 cm across, convex to flat, and with a central navel. It is often incurved at the margin, and is various shades of ochraceous-buff, and tan, depending on moisture content. The fibrillose stipe is the same color, and with a distinct lilac down towards the base. The flesh is whitish, tinged with pink, or ochraceous, and has no apparent distinctive smell, or taste. The gills are pale lilac at first, fading paler.
It is edible, fine when used to make mushroom soup, but not choice.
Vasarą, rudenį auga pušynuose, parkuose, pamiškėse, pakelėse pavieniui arba mažomis grupelėmis, nereta. Kepurėlė 1–4 cm skersmens, iškiliai paplokščia, centre plačiai, negiliai įdubusi, matinė, plaušuota, žvyneliuota, rudos, cinamono spalvos, violetiškai rausvai ruda, sendama išblunka. Lakšteliai stori, reti, platūs, šviesiai pilkai rožiniai, violetinio atspalvio, pusiau nuaugtiniai. Kotas 3–8 × 0,3–0,8 cm, išilgai violetiškai plaušuotas, pilkai rožinis, rausvai rudas, tamprus. Trama pilkšva, rusva, nekarti, grybų kvapo. Sako valgoma, tinka sriuboms paskaninti, bet dzūkams nepasakokite, gali keistai į jus pažiūrėti.
