Eyes reddish brown, in both sexes separated by a broad forehead. Head pale yellow, darkened in the back, greyish. Thorax and scutellum grey. Anepisternum (lateral plate of the thorax) without setae or hairs. Tergites grey with yellow rear edges, otherwise abdomen white-yellow or yellow (sides and underside). Wings darkened at the apex and along the costal vein and on the crossveins. Legs and antennae yellow. Body length 3-5 mm.
