Head grey. Sides of body and scutellum yellow. Scutum brown, covered with golden hairs. Abdomen yellow with distinct, dark stripes of brown hairs at the front edges of tergites. Legs yellow. Wings with extensive dark, indistinct spot halfway along the wing, under the pterostigma. Wing tips light.
Predatory larvae, develop in litter or dead wood.
