Gasteruption jaculator is the most abundant species of gasteruptiids in Lithuania. It is widely distributed in the Palaearctic region. This species can be identified by wide, lamelliform occipital carina and long ovipositor sheath with white or ivory apex. Known hosts consisting of Pemphredon (Crabronidae), Odynerus (Vespidae), Colletes, Hylaeus, Osmia (Apidae) genera.
