https://www.sawflies.org.uk/xiphydria-camelus Larvae bore into the wood of ailing alders (Alnus) and birches (Betula) in wetland habitats. To a lesser degree also on Acer, Populus tremula, Prunus, Quercus, Ulmus minor.
