The beetles are found in Europe, east to Siberia. Body shiny with golden-green or coppery sheen. Pronotum sometimes with blue sheen, always without dents on the sides. Elytra with 4 ribs, not widening posteriorly beyond the apical part. 3rd antennal segment 2 times longer than the 2nd. Thighs black-red.
